Frequently Asked Questions
When should I arrive?
Madame Daphne's door opens at your scheduled time. Arrive early, as you may need extra time to find our location, use the restroom, or explore our lobby.
Late arrivals may have time deducted from their game clock. Call us at 832-413-2853 if you anticipate being more than 5 minutes late.
Do you have an age limit?
We recommend The Man From Beyond for ages 16 and up. We require one adult per guest under 16. Children under 12 will not be permitted.
Is your game wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the experience is accessible, although some of the puzzle elements are not accessible.
Can I add to my guest list once I've booked?
If you don't know your full guest list, book for the minimum to reserve your time. We can add guests up to an hour before your start time.
Contact us via phone or email to change your guest list. We can use the card provided for your original booking for new tickets.
I'd like to book a performance at a time that's not listed.
We can often accommodate custom times, daytime and evening, provided we can arrange for cast. Contact us to inquire.
Can I cancel or move my booking?
As a live ticketed event, all sales are final, we can offer no refunds for cancellations unless we are able to re-sell your time.
You may reschedule your game time if you contact us at least a week in advance. Individual participants may be swapped or added at any time.
Is it scary?
The Man from Beyond is atmospheric and offers surprises and suspense, but no horror or gore.
Is the room locked?
No. We never lock our doors. You can exit at any time for any reason.
Is it claustrophobic?
Our parlor is several hundred square feet and quite comfortable.
I have a personal religious objection to séances. Should I attend?
Our Houdini Séance, while fictional, looks and feels like a historic Houdini séance, and we ask for each guest's participation.
(Madame Daphne will ask for the spirit to attend, to speak, to move objects, and the like. No ouiji board is present; no devil or demon is invoked.)
We think that makes things exciting, but if you find that problematic, The Man from Beyond may not be for you.
Do I need to speak English to participate?
Our puzzles require written and spoken knowledge of English, and our actor interactions are in English.
What should I wear?
Comfortable shoes, reading glasses (as needed), and snazzy attire if you'd like to impress Madame Daphne.
